Self Introduction
Hello parents!
I am an educator in the special needs field and I believe that the work experience, together with experiences in volunteering teaching, mentoring and an internship with the Ministry of Education has provided me with sufficient exposure in working with young children. I may not be the most experienced tutor but I do embody competencies such as mindfulness, creativity and responsibility which I can bring to the job. In addition, I have an immense passion for teaching and have been actively involved in the education scene. Working alongside children and seeing them mature provides me with life’s greatest fulfillment.

I believe that the motivation to acquire knowledge can be facilitated when an educator builds on an individual’s intrinsic motivation to learn. Hence, an educator’s role is to structure lessons according to the learner’s interest and learning style, and to make them interesting and enjoyable. I live by the quote by Clay Patrick Bedford, “You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives”.
