Self Introduction |
| Hello everyone, I am currently an Undergraduate of NTU (Sports Science Management). I have 1 year teaching experience in a secondary school as an Allied Educator for Math. My job required me to work with students who have special needs, such as Dyslexia, and students who are slow learners, giving them more attention and guidance. In order for that to be effective, I have to pick out students from class to form a smaller class (approx. 5 students) to teach, I even gave one to one lessons when the need arises. During my stay in the school, I have taught students from 1NT, 1Exp, 2NT, 2Exp and 3NT. I am a strong believer that Math is a subject which requires a lot of hard work practising it and from what I have observed, the main reason why students fail Math is because they are lazy. They do not practise Math everyday or/and do not pay full attention in class, therefore they cannot get the concepts right. Hence with sufficient hardwork and guidance I believe that every student has the potential to score well. Thank you for reading this introduction. |

"Education is the knowledge of how to use the whole of oneself. Many men use but one or two faculties out of the score with which they are endowed. A man is educated who knows how to make a tool of every faculty--how to open it, how to keep it sharp, and how to apply it to all practical purposes." - Henry Ward Beecher
