Self Introduction
Dear parents:
This is liuyu (Vivian). I have been teaching Chinese, English and Math for 5 years in Singapore. I prefer 1 to 1 home tuition. In this way, students can concentrate on his studies very well. Total number of students I taught is 25. Some of them are from India, America, Korean, Japan and UK. I can use two languages to communicate with students and parents.
Level and subjects that I have taught:
Primary1-6 Chinese, English and Mathematics
Secondary1-5 Chinese and mathematics, higher Chinese and Chinese literature.
Adult: Basic English----Asian
Chinese skills (oral)—foreigners (E.g. European)
The improvements that the students have made:
Local students will improve their grade for 2 levels. They are able to understand comprehension and answer the questions. They are able to speak correct sentences during oral exam period.
International students will able to speak Chinese with their parents, teachers and friends. They will use the correct words. They will not scary with their Chinese exam and can answer the questions very quickly. They will like to do the calculation after study with me together. Students can calculate the math questions in the short period of time.
Other achievement
To be a tutor in a tuition centre for 2 years (part-time), primary and secondary Chinese and math’s teacher.
Parents like to talk to me about their kids’ studies problem. I will share my experience with parents. I will make different study plan to different students. I like interesting study style with my students.
I like music also; I got performance in Victoria hall. I play clarinet for 10 years and piano (5 years)
