Self Introduction
I am a student care teacher, teaching all subjects of all primary school level thus I am in touch with current MOE syllabus. My job scope includes supervising their homework, giving them enhancement and teaching them life skills.

My teaching skills came from my own experiences as a student, my current job and as a Grassroot Leader.

As a student, I was easily complacent. I did well for my preliminaries and proceed to think I will also do equally well for my O levels. Of course, that did not happen. I always tell my students to not make the mistakes I have made and strive forward in school, instead of being easily contented with Band 2 or B grade.

At work, I learnt that different students needs different teaching methods. I had handled autistic students and students with special needs. To me, there are no academically-inclined students but only students who need more motivation than others.

Being a Grassroots leader, it widens my knowledge. I lead the Publicity Team of the Youth Executive Committee. This is where I put my Mass Communications education into good use, constantly practice my command of English and stay relevant.

I started working as a part-time tutor when I was doing my Diploma for 2 years. Upon graduation, I became a student care teacher.

Previously, I left my students after they completed their last school term. They improved vastly from the first time I met them. I used rewards system to every test/exam/spelling. Even if there is only a slight improvement, the students deserve a pat on their backs.

I hope that I had given an idea on my teaching style and my background. Please do consider me as your child's home tutor.
