Self Introduction
Dear Parents/Students,

I am a School Teacher who has been teaching tuition for about 14 years and has been teaching in school since Year 2001.

Through the years of teaching, both in school and in tuition, I have acquired and used various methods of teaching to help students of different needs, ranging from the Pre-schoolers to the Secondarys.

It is most easy for a teacher to teach and give homework but Teaching does not equate to Learning. I am a person who strongly believe that pure administering of homework does not help a student unless it comes with explanations, guidance and encouraged self-learning.

Currently, methods used for teaching of students vary with their individual needs. In cases where parents have special requests (E.g. usage of Onsponge materials etc), there will definitely not be of any issue.

I am trained in the following areas as well:
--Phonics, which is extremely helpful for students who have difficulty in Pronunciation, Vocabulary and spelling & reading of difficult words, not to mention advantages in Oral Communication skills.
--Linguistics, which is most crucial to students who are weak or in need of improvement in Grammar as well as Sentence Structures in both PSLE as well as Secondary level.

Through the years, I have done my part to help students who fared badly to pass their academics as well as students who thought they could not achieve to score higher than their expectations. All these are made possible not simply because of my help, but also because of the students' confidence and belief of themselves, which must be nurtured and encouraged with care and support.

For students who are in need of help/ guidance, I will be most pleased to be of assistance to you.
