Self Introduction
After teaching 18 years at an MOE secondary school and exposed to a variety of students (including dyslexic ones), I have wide experience in teaching all streams of students. While I am somewhat experienced in teaching Social Studies, my experience is much more extensive for English and Geography (both Elective and Full Geog).

I believe in the Growth mindset which means students can improve (and should learn to appreciate their improvements no matter how small). While I am patient yet firm with my students, I expect students to do their part in improving their grades. I do give work to be completed before or after the tuition but I ensure work that the assignments do not add more stress to the already heavy school workload. I cater my tuition lessons to students' abilities and needs, strengths and weaknesses. I will try my best for the students and am committed to working with them to enjoy learning while improving themselves.

I started tutoring only in 2019 with 2 students. 1 student improved his Elective Geography results from F9 to C6 by prelims within a space of 4 months. Another student improved her English from F9 to C6 for her 'O' levels (within a space of 4 months).
