Self Introduction
I have taught relief teaching (English/ Math/ Science) at Methodist Girls' School before. I have approx 3 years of tuition experience mainly in science (Chemistry/Biology/ Physics) across Lower Secondary for students in top schools such has Anglo-Chinese School (ACS), CHIJ and Nan Hua Secondary with a proven track record of improving grades. For upper secondary, I specialize in Physics and Chemistry. For these subjects I have scored high distinction in all.

In addition, I have done volunteer teaching at a social service agency and church before. With my additional background in NUS Psychology, I am able to accommodate students with mild intellectual disabilities (eg ADHD).

During the lesson, I focus on these areas (1) Increase knowledge and concepts of the subject (2) Harness skills and techniques to tackle both the exams and revisions and (3) Cultivate an interest in the subject.

I hope to teach the tutee with feasible methods of learning to fully understand the concepts and not just memorizing with rote learning. This is the only way to climb up the academic ladder. As life is not all about IQ, hope to inspire the tutee with life long lessons and inculcate values to him/her.
