Self Introduction
I am currently 32 years old, an NUS graduate and an NIE Post Graduate diploma holder in School Counselling. I have had 4 years' experience working as a School Counsellor and counselled and coached 226 youths (and counting) in one of the more challenging secondary schools in Singapore.

I specialise in tutoring using motivational and success coaching strategies so that students are more focused, motivated and confident to achieve better grades in school and experience success in life.

As stated, prior to this, I was a counsellor who was selected and rigorously trained by MOE. I received my NIE Post Graduate Diploma in School Counselling in year 2011.

I was then further trained every month to maintain a high standard of practice as a counsellor. Having counselled in one of the more challenging schools in Singapore, I was exposed to a wide variety of issues – from social-emotional issues such as low self-esteem, to more severe cases.

Before my journey as a counsellor, I worked for 4 years in Public Relations. Having to interact daily with CEOs, directors, journalists and individuals from all walks of life means that my writing skills and communications skills were sharply honed. Writing successful press releases, copywriting and working with media personnel form a huge part of my daily duties as a PR executive.

Coupled with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts (Communications) from NUS (National University of Singapore) and experience as a counsellor and PR exec, I am adept in English, communication skills, counselling, soft skills, coaching and emotional management.

On a sidenote, I also maintain a (new) active Facebook Page dedicated to coaching and motivating students.
