Self Introduction |
Well, I really disliked studying. And so I aim to tutor in a manner that's as painless as possible: through an emphasis on the fundamentals (understanding precedes memory work!).
It's my goal to build on the syllabus and to reinforce that which has been taught in school - as such, my focus would be explaining solutions and topics that students feel are not well covered in school. I hope to supplement (and certainly NOT replace) school work.
But let's face it - school work can, at best, just get students by in exams and, at worse, be immensely frustrating and/or boring. I hope to change that by capitalising on student interests.
While I may not seem to have a lot of formal experience, rest assured that I have worked well with other students before - I've assisted classmates during the 'A' Level period and (most recently) helped some of my fellow NSFs in their SAT/BMAT prep. |
