Self Introduction
Inspired by the quote "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn", my teaching style involves a two-way interactive session, coupled with real life applications and illustrative examples to help students understand concepts, be it on grammar rules, comprehension answering or even mathematics formulas. I am a good articulator, evident from my awards of 2nd in Mandarin Story Telling Competition and 3rd in English Story Telling Competition. As such, I am able to instill liveliness into every lesson, to capture students' attention amidst their short attention span.

I also believe in building rapport with my students in order to establish effective communication, understand their strengths and weaknesses and help them to excel in their studies.

During my Secondary School days, I participated in the Mentoring Programme in coaching students of Greenridge Primary School on subjects like English and Mathematics. Through the experience, I developed an interest and passion in teaching, and I would hope that I can not only help my students in building a good foundation but also instill love of learning in them.

On top of my peer tutoring experience, I also have wide tutoring experience in teaching English at Secondary level, and Mandarin at both Primary and Secondary levels.
