Self Introduction
My name is Ong Ching Kang. I have finished my National Service and will be enrolling into Nanyang Technological University this August, taking a double major. Some people can do but cannot teach. Some can teach cannot do. I can do both.

Attained Competent Communicator and Advanced Leader Bronze in Toastmasters

Experience:
1) My 1st student who went into JC, taking H2 Math without A Math background. I taught her A Math. In her class, she was the only student without A Math background. However, she was one of the top 5 passes in her class for a class test.

2) I tutored my 2nd student in both E and A Math. She was failing her Maths. I tutored her for about 1 and a half years. Her final grade at O level was B3 for all her subjects.

3) I am currently tutoring a sec 3 student whom I will stop tutoring once I enrol into NTU. He was and still is failing his A Math. I have, however, managed to get him to grasp a certain level of the concepts taught.

Misc relevant experience:
1) Have done voluntary assistant instructor work for symphonic band since 2012.
2) I work as a freelance assistant trainer under Nexus Training International
3) I have conducted mini workshops before on leadership, 7 habits and literary devices.

Goals
I intend to join Nexus Training as a main trainer, as well as work with more training firms. If possible, take up a minor in educational studies under NIE. Once I hit 25, I am interested in taking up Advanced Certification in Training and Assessment (ACTA) under the Institute of Adult Learning, via Skillsfuture.
