Self Introduction |
I am a learner. I am always learning. We are constantly learning, broadening our ideas and changing our minds on subjects.
I see myself as a teacher and at the same time, a learner. I aim to teach but I am also always learning, even if it's just about different learning styles. I am always learning something. My goal is to work in the child’s best interest, together with the parents, especially by communicating.
Communication can be any possible way – text, email, phone or by whatsapp. I also believe in consistent coaching of my tutees even when its out of lesson time, to clarify doubts immediately, with the use of technology.
I have coached a group of Pri 4 students who are weaker in maths for 2 terms and they have shown improvement from Cs & Ds to As & Bs.
My experience also include tutoring a Secondary 2 student in Mathematics and results improved from a fail in mid years to an A in CA2 and finals. I also tutored a Secondary 3 student in A & E maths, achieving consistently pleasing results. |
