Requirements / Comments: The tutor must have patience with the student and cannot beat her. Reprimanding or scolding are alright but not verbal abuse or using of words that might be hurt her feeling e.g. stupid.

The tutor should try to make the lesson/subject interesting.

Student does not speak Chinese well and is still trying to recognise simple chinese words. I think she has no knowledge of hanyu pinyin as well. The tutor needs to assess her knowledge of Chinese and start to teach her from there.
