Self Introduction

I have 1 ear tutoring experience being part of the Peer Mentoring Program in school

Helped 2 friends go up from a 5 to a 7 in Higher Maths

I have been studying in Singapore for 4 years. MOE scholarship recipient 2008-2009, IB Khoo Teck Puat scholarship recipient 2010-2011. NTU ASEAN Undergrad Scholarship ceripient (Currently)

My best tutoring subject is Mathematics. Consistently got A1 for assesments and final O-level exam in secondary school and 7 for highschool's assessments. SMO gold medal twice (Senior and Open)

Currently teaching an AP student (have been his tutor for around 6 months)

Grades improved from D to B+ (around 80 to 85%). Still improving

My principle of teaching is that Understanding comes first. Memory comes second. I also encourage the student to attempt to imagine him/herself as a tutor and "re-teach" the concept to me and I'll be the one asking question. Studies have shown that the best way to memorize and understand something is to be able to educate on such thing

Apart from tuition time there will also be some homework and occasional quizzes and questions via phone SMS
