Self Introduction

It is natural to judge how 'good' a tutor is by his/her grades and whether the tutor is an ace student, etc. However I feel that having attained aces in one's academic transcripts does not necessarily mean that one is able to teach well or to be able to express oneself well to the students.

As for me, I feel that I make a pretty good tutor as I have a high tolerance and am very patient with my students. I do not mind repeating myself umpteen times just as long as the student manages to grasp my explanation ultimately. Being an undergraduate student myself, I do understand secondary/JC students well and am able to relate well to them. Most importantly, I am responsible and am always punctual for my classes. I rarely cancel my classes unless something urgent has cropped up. Also, my timings are flexible so I am usually able to accommodate to the student's timing if there is a need for them to change their tuition timing for that particular week.

"True education makes for inequality; the inequality of individuality, the inequality of success, the glorious inequality of talent, of genius; for inequality, not mediocrity, individual superiority, not standardization, is the measure of the progress of the world." - Felix E. Schelling
