Self Introduction

I have been giving home tuition (one-to-one and group tuition up to 4 students in a group) on Maths subject for 10 years from Primary to Secondary and even JC with diverse scope of school curriculum (PSLE, O Level, A Level), AEIS preparation for International Student to be admitted to government school and preparing students for Maths Olympiads.

When I was in Secondary and JC level, I represent my school for numerous Maths Olympiads Competition locally and nationally and also won many awards; two of which are Silver and Bronze Award in Singapore Mathematical Olympiads (SMO) 2007 & 2006 consecutively. In addition, I graduated with Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Science (Statistics Specialization) Major from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) that makes me a Mathematics Specialist in teaching industry.

Apart of my inclination towards Maths knowledge, I always believe a student will only improve in Maths when he or she enjoy learning the subject. And normally that depends on how well-liked his/her tutor to the students which influences drastic learning improvement as students always see the subject equivalent to his/her teacher who teach that subject. All these are my approach when I teach a new student who does not seem to enjoy learning maths. I put utmost importance on the psychology of my students before imparting the maths concept itself and everyone receives a personalized teaching from me depending on the character of the students.
