Self Introduction
I am an ex Hwa Chong student who is on vacation until university starts in October and would like to give tuition in the meantime.I am well academically qualified as shown by my O level and A level results and have a flair in Biology, Math and Literature. As I will be pursuing a degree in law at Oxford, I am most confident in teaching the subjects Literature, PW and Social Studies as they are the ones most relevant to my upcoming degree. The books I have covered previously for literature include: The Giver, Emily of Emerald Hill, Merchant of Venice, Romeo and Juliet, Things Fall Apart, Lady Windermere's Fan, Great Expectations, Jane Eyre, Age of Innocence and All My Sons. I covered Victorian Literature for A levels. In JC, I was the recipient of the ASTAR JC Science Award, a scholarship given to top science students in JC. I was also the captain of the Hwa Chong Squash Team and chosen to represent my school in the International Youth Leaders' Forum in Brisbane in 2013. As a member of the Students’ Science Research Council, I explored my interest in Biology through a bio-engineering project at NTU, which was also used for my H3 Research module. I also had the honour of interning in a law firm, Ignatius J and Associates in 2011 and Rajah and Tann in 2015. In addition, I was also awarded the Hwa Chong Diploma (Merit) upon graduation.
