Self Introduction

I have been studying physics and mathematics during my undergraduate and Ph.D. courses (which I finished a year ago). During my studies, I have observed what is missing in conventional physics education -- the connection between formulae and real-life experiences. This connection is crucial to the intuition into and the true understanding of physics. It is the lack of this connection that makes physics hard for many students. In order to make this connection, external aids are called for, but the most important aid one can have is one's own imagination, which can transform mathematical formulae into real-life situations and vice-versa. This is what I call the beginning of understanding physics.

With my experiences in tutoring in both NUS classes and as private tutors, as well as my own experience in being a student, I am confident in bringing to the students a fresh way of physics education that will plant a seed of true understanding of physics into their hearts.
