Self Introduction
At the age of 28 years old, I have come by a long way to achieve my degree last year. As I did not come from a well-to-do family, I need to work and study at the same time after my “O” Levels. In order to finance my education and daily expenses, I worked as an Admin Officer in the day and gave tuition in the evening and attended part time diploma classes during the weekend.
I did well for my Diploma, scoring 3 Distinction and 3 Merits and attain a place in University of Bradford (MDIS - Management Development Institute of Singapore) to continue my studies for Advanced Diploma. I continue to pay my way through my education by giving part time tuition and having a full time administration job in the day for the next one year. After completing my Advanced Diploma, I decided to give myself a break and thus, stop giving tuition. During this period, I focus mostly in my full time job and managed to save enough to pursue my degree.
In Jan 2011, I graduated from University of Wales (MDIS - Management Development Institute of Singapore) with second upper class honors, majoring in Entrepreneurship & Management. During these years of hardship, it has inculcated in me an appreciation for hard work and independence. I have learnt to handle pressure and disappointment through these years of commitment regardless of school days or working life. These have sharpen my patience and competitive spirit.

I was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer stage 1. This diagnosis served as a wake up call and I would like to do things which I have not get the chance to do so if I continue working in the corporate world and they are teaching, serving the church ministries, doing voluntary work and set up a small restuarant.

The surgery was very successful and I am recovering very well. I quit my full time job a month ago to live life to the fullest and fulfill what I want to do. I am ready to start teaching anytime and is committed to this as a full time job. However, I will be going for a short trip on 24 Jul - 29 Jul.
