Tutors who have completed or are attending special programme International Baccalaureate (IB) can now indicate it inside their profiles. It is listed under “Special Programme”, which includes Integrated Programme (IP) as one of the options.
We have implemented the feature since end of last month and have updated the profiles of some existing registered tutors whom we know have taken IB programme. For those IB students who we may have left out, do update it by yourself.
Another side note: We have also removed the IP status from tutors who have obviously not taken the programme. Some tutors seem to have mistaken that by indicating it in their education history section, it means that they are confident to tutor current IP students – which is wrong.
We wish to advise all tutors who have not taken IP/IB but are confident enough to tutor students from IP/IB to indicate it inside the introduction column instead. This is because some parents may be looking for tutors who have completed the programme to tutor their children and we do not wish to have miscommunication problems, which mean lead to conflicts.
