I am an enthusiastic, focussed and ambitious teacher who has high aspirations and keen progress within her career. I am confident, well organised and qualified with a number of work experiences behind me. I am a highly accomplished professional with the ability to identify growth opportunities and lead students in the right direction. I am passionate about giving students the best possible education in life and nurturing them to their maximum potential. I enjoy working in a busy and diverse environment to cater learning diversity. I am confident that my education and teaching skills enable me to make a positive contribution to your missions and goals. I have experience in teaching IBDP, MYP, and IGCSE in schools as well as for home tutoring.

I have obtained my Bachelor of Science (Honors in Mathematics) then moved forward to accomplish my Master of Science in Mathematics from Tripura University, India. Moreover, I have also attained the Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Calcutta in India and then moved to Hong Kong in 2011 and started my career as a teacher then proceeded towards the completion of the Post-Graduate Diploma in Education in Secondary Mathematics full-time course 2017-2018 from the University of Hong Kong. I had to leave my job in Hong Kong because my husband had to move to Singapore for a new job. I picked Education and Teaching as my career because I believe the most successful education depends highly on how much the teacher has focused on each student, and I have the passion to accomplish this target.

Beyond maintaining a high academic expectation on the students, I have the ability to construct a student-focused approach to the teaching-learning process emanating a wholesome and healthy practice of learning for the students which also incorporates self-coordinated learning, collaborative learning, and peer assessment. I highly believe in a diverse learning community to maximize what is achieved by each student. During my student teaching experience and academic pursuits, I explored different interactive strategies and formative assessments among other pertinent topics to education. I am well-organized and able to complete planning in a timely manner. My communication skills are excellent and I have a passion for teaching.
